The Vladimír Sommer Quartet

The Vladimír Sommer Quartet was founded in 2018. By its name, the ensemble wished to celebrate the legacy of prominent Czech composer Vladimír Sommer, who authored among other things two string quartets – the first of which will be performed at the concert. The Quartet took part in the recording of Vladimír Sommer’s chamber music, which was made last year and which will be introduced at this concert.
